    1. Thanks Gerd I will have to make some time to pull them from the case and scan them. I have them all mixed together in the one large shadow box.(dont worry, I do know which medals go with what groups) I am going to get some ryker mounts so that I can store the groups together with their books.
    2. Nice medals!!! I have never seen one mounted on a bar like that!! Also, nice use of the Air Medal Box!
    3. I am looking forward to seeing the article!! I have not seen too many first hand accounts of Soviet Action against the Japanese! Regards Paul
    4. Thanks Rick! This medal grouping was my first significant piece for my Soviet collection. (20 Jubilee book and medal) I bought it from Igor back in 1992... before he was on line or even had a running catalog. Most of my collection actually came from him!
    5. Here it is... magnified another 200%. I think that this is the best I will get.
    6. I dunno... it appears to be in a couple of languages! There is a portion of the stamp that appears to be in Russian as well. I wish the entire stamp was present!
    7. x200% This scan has more detail present that I can see in the photo.
    8. Thank you Ed, for you compliment! I bought these years ago and almost sold them for what would have been a song about a year ago. I am glad that I did not!!! Rick, Here are the photos you were asking about. I hope that they help. First up is the full photo of the Jubilee Medal awardee
    9. Finally, The award. 1966. Most likely a long service medal? Thank you all for looking.
    10. Close up of the stamp. There are traces if it still on the photo...
    11. NExt up is my first documented medal I bought in 1992 for a whopping 200 dollars. I dont know what they go for now, but I assume they are a lot more!
    12. This grouping has the Order of Red Banner of Labor, Order of Friendship, Order of Honor, and Order of the October Revolution.
    13. As you will notice... no photo. I dont know when the addition of photos was stopped
    14. I am taking a few moments to repost with better scans, my order books. I do have the medals and orders as well, yet there has been some interest in the books. I look forward to any questions or comments. Regards Paul Reck
    15. I am afraid that the only version I have is the later version. I cannot make an educated comment on this one. From what I know, it looks OK. Regards Paul
    16. Interesting combination. All things aside, the major thing that I do not like about it is the absence of the Hindenburg Cross. Can we please see a shot of the reverse? Thanks! Paul
