    4. After closer examination you are quite correct, I did think it strange given the six torches. As you can see by the close up it's not too clear, looks like a 2 the second number being totally covered by the new pin assembly. Thanks for your help

    8. What I love about these two items is that the owners cared for them enough to either modify or repair them. DE-NAZIFIED EK1 3 piece construction with blackened brass centre, as you can see the swastika appears to have been hammered out but you can just make out it's shape. No maker mark unfortunately. FIELD MODIFIED EK 1 The pin must have broken off at some time, I would like to believe in battle. It has been replaced with a makeshift screw mount that has been attached, a quality job in my opinion. Any comments observations gratefully received.

    14. Some shots of Tito from my collection. January 21st 1980 at age 87 on a visit to London for a five hour operation for a leg amputation. Alexandria United Arab Republic Pictured with President Gamal Abdel Nasser 2nd May 1966 and at the conference 3rd may 1966. The purpose of the talks were to discuss the increase in power of the non-aligned nations in world affairs. The talks took place at the Ras El Tin Palace. Tito had arrived on 2nd May onboard the Yogoslav Presidential Yacht.

    18. The medal was instituted on 29 December 1951 to reward outstanding service in the armed forces and cancelled in 1991. I also have the case and ribbon for it any other information you could provide me with would be gratefully received :-)
