I agree, haven't seen that one faked before. The catch is off centre. A seller in England has been flogging all manner of Imperial fake cases the last couple of years. Remember when no one wanted cases and you could pick them up for cheap?

I agree that that one looks good Rick, but some of the fakes of exactly this order are extremely good, there's a thread at SDA about these.

Nice display, I've been known to experiment with shadow boxes as well. -
It was discussed at SDA, and there were multiple things wrong with it, starting with the shape of the cross arms.

I like the Trapetz, but the KO3 is a fake, although the case looks real.

I agree, the officer's crosses are spectacular, right up there with the Zaehringer Loewen IMHO.

Good eyes people. Bernd, there is an old Prussian family by that name, sometimes spelled differently. In fact I think there was a high ranking Polish officer from the same family in the interwar period. But you're right, the engraving is so spurious on this thing as to be laughable.
