    1. Are we going to get any real info on this piece, or is this just a never-ending interweb tease?
    2. Impressive, those are the smallest, most detailed minis I've ever seen.
    3. Now up for grabs on fleabay, being peddled as genuine by 'reputable' dealer thedogfacesoldier.
    4. I agree, and it's very disappointing that the fakery has so convincingly seeped into what used to be relatively 'stable ground' in the collecting community.
    5. I agree with Sascha, I have a couple of my uncle's Feldschnalllen in which the precedence is outlandish to say the least.
    6. LOL, the only good thing about that movie was that chick who played the love interest.
    7. Unofficial, possibly a Schuetzenverein piece, and the Saxons also used that type of triangular ribbon.
    8. Marius, I think valuations are frowned upon on this forum. Those look like nice items, in particular the White Falcon. You can PM me for values if you like.
    9. There were many variants, so-called Spangenstuecke, produced. Award pieces have the ribbed suspension loop at the upper cross arm.
    10. There are many variants of this medal, and also many fakes floating around. Award types should be around 15 grams. Does yours have the die cutter's name in the neck area? Should say 'Schultz'.
    11. Judging from these shots they all look good, unless the fakers are now adept at copying the details.
    12. They are known to have occurred, I don't dispute that. However, I find the pin assembly and manner of construction of the reverse of this bar to be problematic.
    13. If you're satisfied with this piece, then that's all that matters, of course. I find it a completely unbelievable item, as the combination is considered all but non-existent, and the manner of construction of this bar is clearly not up to usual Godet standards. Have a close look at the reverse.
