Recently aquired this with a few other medals, bought as a lot. I am assuming it is some kind of Commemorative Medal for 25 Years after the 1870/71 War? Please PM me regarding an estimated value. It features on the reverse the Kings/Princes of some of the German States in a circle around Kaiser Wilhelm. Thanks to all who can enlighten! Pierce

This is one of my favourite bars in my collection ...don't know how or why i forgot to post this before! The Anschluss medal is a rare varient, it is slightly larger than the standard Flower War medals and it is also magnetic! Best regards Pierce

Hi Don, Yeh now up for sale.....i just bought one medal bar too many and now am broke. As for proof, there are no docs with this group so i am going on the previous owners word. I own a few medal bars that came with "no proof" and no-one seemed to have a problem with them. This one looks fine too, all original. I see where you are coming from though and it is too bad. The combo is a bit common to say they belong to Frantz but these were the awards he received (talking about the medal bar in particular here) from what i read. IMO just because there is no positive ID does NOT mean they are not his awards. Kind regards Pierce
