    1. Thanks Chip, I know. Do you know the owner of the lamp, because I need some detail shots?
    2. Thanks for your informations. Do you think it is a period item? As I know Souval made 3. Reich medals after the war too.
    3. Hi gentlemen, I search good pics and informations about the "Blendlaterne 07". If someone has got one of these interestings lamps, please let me know. Thanks!
    4. Thats the pouch for the tent equipment. Unfortunately the leather straps are missing.
    5. A nice Hessen Koppelschlo?! Unfortunately you can't see the regimental number...
    6. In my opinion this cross is original. What do you think and any ideas about the maker?
    7. The model 1909 was used at Verdun, but designated as "13 cm Kanone 09". Its construction was far from obsolete; it was a modern gun with a long range. I thought there was an old 18whatever gun with the same caliber, you were talking about. The 13 cm 09 was used during the conmplete war and its only problem was its heavy weight. See my post here: http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=11257&st=20#
    8. I only have informations about the 13 cm Kanone which was a very modern gun. These old 13,5 cm were not used in Verdun btw.
    9. Thanks Tony! If someone is interested in the compass, please send me a PN.
    10. Today I got this compass which might be british but was made in Switzerland. It is dated 1918. Any idea what type it is?
    11. Schade! Now I will try the challenge to build a tripod on my own. I will keep you informed about the progress!
    12. Today it has arrived. I found another stamp on the left side: "R. 33". I don't think this is a date. Is it possible, that this binocular was captures by the germans and they added their unit mark? Possibly Reserve-Infanterieregiment 33? The letter "R" and the numbers are completely different from those of the maker/serial number stamp.
    13. The problem with the feldgrau tunics are the prices nowadays. Who has got 1500 Euros left for a M15 Feldbluse?
    14. Thanks Daniel. I was surprised about the wool quality too. How would you date it? Around 1900? They still used dunkelblau uniforms in WW1, but only at home and only for training if they had a lack of field grey uniforms. I once saw a picture from 1917 with a group of recruits in blue uniforms during basic training at home. Btw. IR 81 is the unit I reenact!
    15. Thanks Kev! Btw. this tunic has got a fine black lining which looks like some kind of silk. No stamps...
