    1. Hi, any opinions on this Panzer Assault Badge in silver?. Its made of zinc; no makers mark.
    2. In 1993: http://home.scarlet.be/~tor-3362/en/historique.htm
    3. I think MSA is the old name of the marche (Marche du Souvenir et de l'Amitié) before the added the "European". The ribbon device may be for taking part for the second time.
    4. My little contribution on this old thread: I started around 1995 and all began on flea markets in Germany. But I can't remember what came first (chicken or egg?), the first soviet medal or the first book about them (the colored GDR book from Herfurth). And if I had known what I know now, I would have spent every Pfennig in them! Here are some flea market prices as far as I can remember them: Order of the Red Banner (post 1943): 25 - 40 DM Order of the Red Star: 20 DM Campaign medals: 10 - 20 DM Medals for Distinguished Military Service (set of both classes): 25 DM Bravery and Military Merit Medals: ~ 15 - 20 DM Order of the Red Banner of Labour/Badge of Honor/Workers Glory 3. Cl.: ~ 25 DM each Jubilee Medals: 5 DM (with some trading 3 DM :speechless1:
    5. Very nice examples!!! Especially those with the same style of numbers.
    6. Thanks for your opinions. I think a research won't make sense if this is an "assembled" group.
    7. I hope so I was told his name was Pavel Ivanovich Kapinichenko.
    8. Thanks. Do you think the award booklet and the entries are original?
    9. Gordon is correct. Its the qualification badge for a company First Sergeant. The golden badge was give to soldiers holding that position for at least 10 years (silver for 5 years and bronze for 6 months).
    10. I am planning to research this one in the near future. I just hope that the awards booklet looks good, the awards are fine in my opinion. -Order of the Red Star, early type with the "pebbled" back, #390867 -Order of the Red Star, #1379987 -Medal for Merit in Combat, early type; red ribbon was replaced with a piece of red cloth possibly by the owner, #252449
    11. Hi, what do you think about these four soviet campaign medals? Real or fake? No.1 - Belgrade
    12. Very nice "Glorys"!!! Here are better photos. I hope they are ok.
    13. Just to be sure and sleep well, what do you think about this Order of Glory 2nd class?
    14. Many thanks to everyone. You answered all of my questions. Merci - Dank je well I also found out, that they changed the design of the MESA medal too: http://commando-air-...5-medaille-mesa I plan to take part in the 4 x 32 km Ijzer-March next year.
    15. Hello, does anyone have any information about the two current marching medals awarded by Belgium? I mean the MESA Medal (Marche Européenne du Souvenir et de l'Amitié) and the medal for the four days march of the Ijzer (Vierdaagse van de Ijzer). What are their variations and they official belgian decorations? Thanks in advance.
