Here's the last fragment of that photo. Heiko hinted this could be Feldwebel-Leutnant or Offiziers-Stellvertreter because of the type of his medal bar which is in fact the one used by NCOs.

General close-up. It seems one of the orders he wears is Bavarian Militär-Verdienstorden Kreuz 2.Klasse mit Krone und Schwertern. Am I right?

Here's a scan of the backside. Can youlet me know what's written there? All I can make out is "...Gedenktag am 13.Okt. 1929 (Walter (?) Kettenmayer mit ... und futterl.)". In the meantime it seems the name could be "Lettenmayer" as well...
