    1. Greetings to everyone. I would like to read some opinions on the originality of this PAB currently available for sale. Thanks in advance, Douglas
    2. Hi, I was offered this dog tag. I don't know anything about this matter, so I would like to hear your comments about it. Is it original (pre-1945)? What unit is this? Thanks in advance, Douglas
    3. Hi, This medal bar came in recently and I would like to know more about it. I think that the 3rd, 4th and 5th medals were awarded fot Time of Service in the Army and the 1st is the Polonia Restituta. What are the others? Any tip about when it was made or what kind of guy it belonged to? Thanks in advance, Douglas.
    4. Hi folks, A friend of mine ask for help to identify the decoarations and promotions listed in this Milit?rpass. I could identify the Milit?rverdienst 3. Klasse mit Schwertern und Krone and the Eiserne Kreuz II Klasse. But what about the others? Service Medals? Wound Badge? In addition, any help with the promotions would be nice! Thanks, Douglas.
    5. Sorry for my late reply as I only see your question now! The ribbon bar is for a Brazilian WWII Fighting Veteran Association medal which was awarded to me (together with two other fellows) for helping to preserve the memory of their combat story. I must say that I'm very proud of it! I will take some shots of other Brooms and post here. Douglas
    6. Paul, The bluing is not original. But I?m planning to start a restoration project. The gun is so rare that it is highly recommended to do such thing. Is this the first Broomhandle around here? I will take care of this! Greetings, Douglas.
    7. Thanks Micha! someone will have bad news tonight... Douglas
    8. I?m almost sure that it is a fake Floch cross ("L15" mark - without "/" - pin & catch and red rust are Floch features as far as I know), but would like to hear from you guys before give the current owner the bad news. No further pictures are available, sorry! Douglas
    9. Jens, I think you made a typing mistake regarding the EKI award date... Douglas
    10. Pegasus, Many thanks for your help. I really enjoyed it and it was very useful. Wishes, Douglas
    11. Hello folks, Where I live there are no miltaria/gun shows or anything similar so you must to rely on your networking to find new pieces for your collection. Well, one of my "contacts" has a table in a local Flea Market, and a few days ago, he called me and ask me to come to see him because the had a "Mauser that might be of my interest". He told me also,to "do not expect too much 'cause it was badly reblued...". I went to the Flea Market anyway just to check what he had. Took the parcel and went to my parked car to examed. I confess that, as my expectancy was so low, I almost fainted when I pull this one off the plastic. It is a six-shot conehammer, serial number 14xxx. It came with a stock but I can't say if it original to the gun (no serial number stamped) but it is an original pre-WWI stock. I know, I know, it was reblued. But I just took it in a trade for some militaria items: in fact four German medal bars correponding to a total amount of c. US$ 450.00 - and the deal also included a mismatching 1906 Commercial Luger. So, when I looked in the Net to see how much one of these worth, I think I made a good deal. As I said, sometimes Lady Luck smiles to you... I think it is a good restoration project, as the gun is matching and most of the marks are still visible, but I would like to hear from you guys how I should proceed to give it a better look. Greetings, Douglas.
    12. Nice pistol indeed! Well, Bill fortunately, I do not live in USA and in my small corner of the Third World I can even legally own a fully automatic Thompson M1A1 and a BAR 1918A1. Take care, Douglas
    13. Yes. Exactly the same soldier. Thanks for all the answers, folks. I?m working on a text to file with this WP and this information is very useful for this work. Greetings, Douglas.
    14. Hi, I would like to know what is the palce where this soldier was born. I couldn't figured out... In addition, any help with the occupation of his parentes is welcome. thanks in advance, Douglas.
    15. Thanks for your efforts. I show this medal to another friend and he told me that it is a medal issued by the Accademia Angelica-Constantiniana di Letter, Arti e Scienze, created in 1949 and located in Roma. Douglas
