The "Richterzeitung" 1918 lists two Amtsgerichtsräte with HHOX: 1) Amtsgerichtsrat Brachwitz, Berlin -> this is Fritz Georg Richard Brachwitz, born 16.4.1875 in Berlin, 1912/13 Amtsrichter in Thorn, first name acc. to Adressbuch Thorn. He must be the HdR Brachwitz from RIR 6. 2) Amtsgerichtsrat Otto from Nienburg. I have not yet been able to find his first name, but he should be the Olt dR Otto from Nienburg/Weser in IR 82 in the 1910 Prussian ranklist. Probably would be found in the Adressbuch Nienburg. He might be the Hptm dL from LIR 31 without first name in our list. Acc. to the Richterzeitung, he also got Hamburg and Bremen Hanseatic Crosses.

Another Jewish recipient: Olt dR Friedländer is Heinrich Friedländer, 1885-1959. He was a lawyer and published a lot about corporate law. Olt Junge must be Heinz Junge, born 1893, formerly in FAR 24, during WW1 in FFA 38, later Direktor at Focke-Wulf and during WW2 Major and Deputy Cdr of a PoW Camp (tried for that after the war). His HHOX (and his Mecklenburg-Strelitz 1st cl) is mentioned in Stefan Geck, "Dulag Luft, Auswertestelle West: Vernehmungslager der Luftwaffe für westalliierte Kriegsgefangene im Zweiten Weltkrieg", Lang 2008

Yes, he is in Verlustlisten as "Weidenhammer" as well. I find two references for him (during his lifetime) which seem to be independent from each other: - A 1967 book, "Deutsche Offiziere in Staat, Wirtschaft und Wissenschaft" by Franz Kurowski lists Rudolf Weydenhammer with the "Ritterkreuz des Hausordens von Hohenzollern". - The German Who's Who 1970 lists him with "Hohenzollern-Hausorden". I couldn't find out whether earlier volumes list it as well.

Lt dR Lütke is probably Andreas Ludwig Lütke, Lehrer in Travemünde, from IR 394, and IR 162 before. Born 17.10.1886 in Schwartau. Verlustlisten Dec 1918 have him as vermisst. I find nothing about him after WW1.

Lt dR Lützkendorf is most probably Otto Max Lützkendorf, born 1894 in Wegeleben. "Reichsbankdiätar" after WW1, found in Berlin address books until at least 1973.

There is a fascinating story behind this one: He was of Jewish origin, born in Karlsruhe in 1889, a very successful football player esp. before WW1. Played several times for the German national team. He had to emigrate during the Nazi era, finally coming to Canada. In 1941, he changed his name to Godfrey E. Fochs.
