    1. Bitterberg is also mentioned as one of three teachers with HHOX in this postwar notice (Bielefelder General-Anzeiger, 9.12.1918). The other two are Waldemar John from Spenge (Matty had him already, https://www.kreisheimatverein.de/online-bibliothek/biografien-2/john/) and Christian Stellhorn from Gadderbaum, first name acc. to Adressbuch Bielefeld (Bethel, in Gadderbaum). He is found at least until 1950.
    2. First name: Walter Angenete from Herford Bielefelder General-Anzeiger, 15.6.1918 Born in 1879, acc. to this link: https://www.ve-friederizianer.de/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/Friederizianer_195_online.pdf
    3. We might have had these two before, I am not sure. Only new initials, not complete first names: Lt W. Grosse/Große from Minenwerfer Kp. 13, from Minden Bielefelder General-Anzeiger, 10.2.1917 Lt W. Heilmann from Minden Bielefelder General-Anzeiger, 31.3.1917
    4. First name: Bruno Lehnemann Westdeutsche Landeszeitung (Gladbach), 21.9.1918 Born 1892, an architect - and he was with Speer later on: https://wiki.hv-her-wan.de/index.php?title=Bruno_Lehnemann Seems he died in 1944, acc. to this list: http://www.burschenschaftsgeschichte.de/pdf/lexikon-namensverzeichnis.pdf
    5. First name: Josef Leuchtgens or Leuchgens (different in both notices) The address book Rheydt 1911 lists a pensioner Josef Leuchtgens, so this spelling might be correct. Westdeutsche Landeszeitung (Gladbach), 17.7. and 27.7.1918
    6. First name: Hptm dR Max Gabriel from FAR 51 Central-Volksblatt für den Regierungsbezirk Arnsberg, 18.7.1918
    7. First name: Dr. (Gustav) Stratmann, Dr. jur. from University of Leipzig 1905, Landgerichtsdirektor. Death notice from Bochumer Anzeiger, 5.8.1935.
    8. Here is a 1937 article about the change of Kommandeur in Wehrbezirk Bochum. Both are mentioned as having the HHOX. The new one is OTL (E) Ernst Blümel, we have him. The old one, who is leaving for Wehrersatzinspektion Dortmund, is a Major (E) Meyer, born around 1889, formerly from IR 23. I don't find his first name. Bochumer Anzeiger, 24.3.1937 Meyer has an interesting ribbon bar as well, see the close-up. UPDATE: According to ERL, it is either Fritz or Konrad Meyer The Adressbuch Dortmund 1938 lists a Major Fritz Meyer, probably him. So he might be the Hptm Fritz Meyer in our list. In the WH 1939 RL, it looks like he is the Leiter of Wehrmachtfürsorge- und Versorgungsamt Bielefeld, that's the only one who fits.
    9. Might be a first name for our Lt dR Mackh from FußArtBat 94: Wilhelm Mackh, mayor of Gummersbach from 1933-45. Word of caution: It says "Hohenzollernorden", which might be different things. Bergische Wacht, 28.10.1933
    10. New first name: Dr. Heinz Commer. Dr. jur. from the University of Greifswald 1918. From Bergheimer Zeitung, 29.1.1919 And here is his death notice, same newspaper, 11.7.1938
    11. Lt dR Robert Hess from Oldenburg died in 1962, mentioned here: http://www.familienkunde-oldenburg.de/wp-content/uploads/of/of_08_1-2.pdf
    12. One of the two Lt dR Koch we have without first name must be Hugo Koch (1899-1945), an organ builder, born in Switzerland. His HHOX is mentioned here: https://www.gabriel-isenberg.de/forschungen/orgelbauer-hugo-koch/
    13. Submitted: Lt Paul Hindrichs From Bergische Zeitung, 7.9.1918 First name: Paul Lüttgens from Oberhaan From Bergische Zeitung, 14.1.1919 Another first name: Paul Vossebrecher From Bergische Zeitung, 26.3.1919

    15. Nice one! By the way, I have had this lapel bow for many years, with a green ribbon in last place. It could be several awards, but I have always wondered if it might be a lifesaving medal, either from Turkey or Braunschweig. It was discussed here, but we couldn't reach a conclusion:
