    1. For the Lt dR Jenewein from IR 76, who got the HHOX around Oct 1917, I find these four candidates, going by VL: Fritz, IR 180, born 23.5.1887 in Vinningen Grigo, born 26.7.XX in Neunkirchen, listed as KIA in May 1918 Ludwig, born 16.5.XX in Peine/Hannover, listed as KIA in Nov 1917 Walter, born 5.12.XX in Hückeswagen/Lennep Is there any connection known for one of them to IR 76?
    2. The Major aD "von Jarotzki" from IR 45 is Georg von Jarotzky. In ERL under aD officers, in LdstIR 4, originally from IR 45. In VL Sep 1918 as wounded, born 10.6.XX in Görlitz.
    3. Hptm dR Jancovius (very rare name) is Leopold Jancovius, originally from FAR 6. Rittergutsbesitzer in Nieder Schellendorf, Liegnitz, listed in the Schlesisches Güter-Adreßbuch 1937.
    4. The Lt Jaegerhuber is Friedrich Jaegerhuber from IR 97, Olt aD after WW1, acc. to VL born 2.2.1882 in Kirchbuch, lived in München as Major in the 1930s, then found 1939 in Ansbach as Arbeitsführer and RAD-Meldeamtsleiter. Rick mentioned him briefly years ago, when I found the RAD DALs: Not to be confused with Bavarian Hptm Friedrich Jaegerhuber from FlA 48, orig. Bayr. IR 18, born Reichenhall 1878, died in a crash in 1915.
    5. Great joint work! Here is another one: For the Major Jacobs who received the HHOX in mid 1918, there are basically two possibilities: 1) Friedrich Karl Rudolf Jacobs, from IR 357 (originally IR 64), born 17.6.1875 in Siernik Kreis Schubin, KIA as Major 21.10.1918. 2) Hptm Jacobs, in 1914 Adj. 21. InfBrig, Unif. IR 82, Major aD, couldn't find his first name
    6. For the Major Hübner who got the HHOX in mid 1918, I mainly see these three possibilities: 1) most likely, in my view: 1914 Hptm in Kriegsschule Cassel, later Kdr RIR 83, ended the war as OTL aD. First name seems to be Hans. 2) Georg, in 1914 Hptm in IR 154. From "Ostrowy/Russland". 3) another 1914 Hptm, OTL aD, from FAR 71. Hptm dL Hülsz from RIR 272 is Louis Hülsz. In VL Oct 1915 as Olt dL, from Coburg. 1914 in Landwehrbezirk Berlin I. He was Ingenieur with the Glühlampenfabrik W.E. Jantzen and found in address books Berlin as Dipl.-Ing. in the 1920s and 30s. In 1938, he is in Augsburg as Fabrikdirektor (at Wolfram), and found there until 1951 at least.
    7. Lt dR Holzkämper is Rudolf Heinrich Wilhelm Holzkämper, in Stammrollen Bayern. 1916 versetzt zur FlgAbt 13. Born 2.7.1884 in Krentrupperhagen/Lippe.
    8. The Lt dR Hellmich from IR 19 might be Philipp, from Bremen/Soest, acc. to VL.
    9. Hptm Fessel from IR 150 is Kurt Fessel. Lived in Allenstein in 1932 as Major aD.
    10. Very interesting! The Maj von Wolff we had without first name so far. Some more info: This should be the Wilhelm Schroeder who received the HHOX as Hptm. OTL aD, born 1877 in Danzig, died 1931. From Paderborner Anzeiger, 17.12.1931.
    11. New first name Lt dR Josef Koch from Neuhaus. Judging from the publication date, this should be the Lt dR Koch from MGSSA 10. In that case, the other Lt dR Koch (from RIR 262) should be the Hugo whom we had before in this thread. From Paderborner Anzeiger, 13.8.1918
    12. Only an initial: Lt dR Lamberti is H. Lamberti from Hilden. From Ohligser Anzeiger, 21.9.1918 Two days later, another notice appeared in the same newspaper (with a typo!), according to which he was Zahnarzt. There was a Hans Lamberti who received his Dr. med. dent. from the University of Köln in 1921 (so might have studied before the war, but received his Dr. after). I find him as Zahnarzt in Düsseldorf-Mettmann in 1931.
    13. Very interesting! So this one: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hans_Müller_(aviator) ? Died in München in 1964.
    14. Maybe we have him already, and there is no first name anyway: "young flyer Lt" Müller from Traar near Krefeld. From Ohligser Anzeiger, 5.7.1918
    15. Alexander Hammesfahr was born 10.5.1880 in Wald Kreis Solingen (ancestry). Couldn't find his death date, but he is in Berlin address books as Major aD until at least 1941.
    16. Lt dR Ohle is Paul Ernst Ohle, Studiendirektor. Was in Brigade Ehrhardt. Born 18.6.1894 in Marburg (ancestry). From NS-Volksblatt für Westfalen, 9.1.1934. Was recalled for WW2, ended it as Major dR. Died in 1980. More about him here: http://www.koenigin-mathilde-gymnasium.de/assets/kmg-geschichte-download.pdf
    17. Naughty Reichsgraf! Lefebvre does not seem to have been an active officer. There is only one that would remotely fit, the Lt Lefèvre from Unteroffz.schule Jülich (orig. IR 164), but he ended WW1 already as Hptm aD. In the VL (Aug 1918) however, I find a Lt dR Johann Lefebvre, born 19.8.XX in "Cöln". Only one who would fit. Maybe Glenn has more to say on this case.
    18. We have him already, but there is some more information: Lt dR Franz Berten: his notice was published very late, in the Niederrheinisches Tageblatt, 17.5.1919. Born 5.10.1895 in Hinsbeck Came back in WW2 KIA 24.8.1944 in Marseille as Major dR and Kdr Marine-Festungspionier-Bataillon 360 (acc. to Lohmann/Hildebrand)
    19. Erich Sellke is Erich Georg Conrad Christian Sellke, born 1888 in Zippnow, died 1974 in Köln: http://elizabethriemer.com/getperson.php?personID=I00259&tree=tree1 (includes a photo)
    20. Major aD Joseph Freiherr von Wendt-Papenhausen (in our list without Papenhausen) died in 1944. From Westfälische Tageszeitung: Münsterländische Volkszeitung, 18.10.1944
    21. Oberst aD Hermann Krome died in 1943. From Westfälische Tageszeitung: Münsterländische Volkszeitung, 10.2.1943
    22. Amtsgerichtsrat Edmund Mierzinsky, Hptm dR, died in 1943. From Westfälische Tageszeitung: Münsterländische Volkszeitung, 10.2.1943
    23. Dr. Paul Derlin (in our list as Martin) died as Oberfeldarzt in 1942: From Westfälische Tageszeitung: Münsterländische Volkszeitung, 22.10.1942 We might have had him before: Wilhelm-Bruno Wiebecke died as OTL in 1942. From Westfälische Tageszeitung: Münsterländische Volkszeitung, 24.12.1942
    24. After quite a while, this should be an entirely new one: OTL Reinhard Reichsgraf von Merveldt, from 1. GzF. Born 1870 in Salzkotten. From Westfälische Tageszeitung: Münsterländische Volkszeitung, 5.7.1942
