Certainly looks nice to me. Jacques would know much more than I on these. Congrats again! Tim
    2. Another collector had posted this example of a silver bravery medal and the marks look correct in style, but it looks more like an "FM" instead of the "FR". Thoughts? Thanks, Tim
    3. I saved this PIC earlier and forgot what thread it originally belonged to, but wanted to ask a question on the silver content marks.

Happy to help and its always a pleasure to see such beautiful examples! Congrats again! Tim
    5. What a great design! Almost has that Captain America look to the reverse! So, let's see some other ones! Tim
    6. Another WW1 version, this one marked M. Lorioli & Castelli:
    7. This is a really interesting medal which seems to have several varieties in both the medals as well as the ribbons. If you got em, post em! Tim Here's a WW1 version by maker S. Johnson:

Well, I think it's a nice looking cross. Perhaps the gilt is just polished to the point that this is what it looks like. The PIC's are clear enough that I don't think better lighting would make it look any "golder" in appearance. Tim
    9. Hello, Would this medal ever have crossed swords added to the ribbon? Tim
    10. Hi Rob, Yes, that would be my take on some of these as well. There is one example that might actually be a custom made to order piece as it appears to be bullion with small adornments sewn into it. Sharp looking and certainly different! Tim

I agree, a nice looking Juncker SC! Has all the traits of an original CEJ, though I can't tell if it's gold or silver either. Honestly, if it didn't have the 900 stamp, I would thought it was a bronze version. Almost all of the gold versions I've seen are clearly gold, no mistaking it. My silver CEJ 900 has a really dark patina and has a reddish bronze coloration but still has silver showing through in areas where you can tell it's a silver version. This one has a completely different color to it. Interesting. Tim
    12. Interesting! Good info Rob! I do see these appearing more and more. Tim
    13. Hi Xt, First, the link only shows: "The file you are trying to access is temporarily unavailable." It's roughly 42 megabyte in size. So, you can't access it. The only download option is to an application type file of 126 kbyts and I think that is something else. Either way, I am not downloading any application files to my computer. FYI, I cannot answer your last PM as I do not have the reply option available to the conversation anymore. To All, I am still trying to get some clear answers on whether or not all of these are for sale and what the prices are for the individual pieces. Those interested in any items are free to contact me, but at this point I don't have much information and we are dealing with language differences here. I'll keep those interested infomed as this progresses. What I know is the seller is Czech and these pieces reside in one large collection. Just where that collection really is at this point is unknown; it may be in the Czech Republic, or in the States and he is buying it, just not 100% sure currently. I do have some more, larger PIC's sent today and will post some later this evening. If nothing else, they are really nice to look at and show some interesting varieties that exited. Regards, Tim
    14. Hi Rob! Never looked that close but, I see it now! Thanks! Tim
    15. Not sure what this is as my computer does not recognize the file type. Catalogue of what? Tim
    16. Thought I would add a recent pickup to an old thread as the medal is in really decent shape with the correct ribbon. A really sharp design and the gilt on it really looks like the same gold coloration on a solid gold coin! Very nice! Tim
    17. The guy has a lot of Czech items for sale, some Communist as well. I only really asked about the WW1 stuff. He did send me a group shot of these. I think they are strictly WW2 though? Czech Army Abroad Commemorative Medals Thoughts? Anyone recognize that one War Cross with the larger leaves and star? Tim
    18. I guess my earlier Linden leave questions on correct colors, and proper orientation on the ribbon have been answered.
