    1. These two medals came as a "group" with the document for the Grateful Afghan People Medal. No way to know if they really were together with the document, but I'll keep them together nonetheless... Appreciate an assist with decoding the name on the doc...
    2. Nick, be serious. Any image file ... no matter it's size or dpi ... will become blurry if you download and attempt to zoom in beyond a certain point. I'm just a poor American, I don't have a super Russian computer that can zoom in from outer space and read license plates. Oh, by the way, do you think the scratches on my Jeep will buff out or should I have it repainted?
    3. Thanks, good point regarding suspension.
    4. I am using an Epson with 600dpi. I don't compress the file; upload the same one that comes from the scanner. The scans aren't blurring at all on my computer when I open them. Does anyone else think the scans are blurry? Something lost in translation at your end perhaps...
    5. A Military version of the 100th Anniversary Lenin Medal (second variation with LMD denoting Leningrad mint on reverse side of ring). And a document... I would appreciate any help with translating the name and stamps...
    6. Not a particularly uncommon medal; over 600,000 awarded. This is Variation 3 with stamps on both sides of the ring. Also with a document; any help with the names and stamps appreciated...
    7. Thanks Ferdinand... Always, appreciate your expert input.
    8. Yes, that is indeed a nice bar. Constellation is only about 50 minutes away from me up the Bay in Baltimore.
    9. These have been discussed before on GMIC. This is one of the first... Unofficial and sketchy, but I still like it...
    10. Can't remember if I've posted this one before...(and can't find it with a "search"). Picked this up in Yerevan, Armenia a few years ago... Thoughts?
    11. A fairly common medal... Picked this one up in Armenia a few years ago.
    12. Thanks! This is researchable by number though, correct?
    13. For a Navy medal, this one is way cool. USS Hull... If I'm guessing correct, he would've sailed on the Hull with the Great White Fleet to South America... Would he have qualified for a WWI Victory Medal?
    14. Would these be marked St Etienne as well?
    15. I don't think I posted this one when I bought it during my stay in Yerevan, Armenia. Bravery Medal # 3645762 I believe Type 2 Variation 1, soldered ring. Thoughts?
    16. Nice. Now you need a bayonet...
    17. I'm only guessing now... TIROLER LANDESVERTEIDIGUNGSMEDAILLE 1866
    18. So, I was close with the Johanniter-Malteser... So, how about then the Order of the Golden Spur? The last one then has me stumped if not the Jubilee medal...
    19. Is the fir Okay... The first one could be something to do with... Johanniter-Malterser-Ordenen für das Grosspriorat Österreich und Böhmen
    20. Well, it's the first one that is difficult... Because #2 and #3 are... VERDIENSTKREUZ mit KRONE JUBILÄUMS - MEDAILLE für ZIVILSTAATSBEDIENSTETE (1898)
