      David, I've been collecting these for as long as I've been collecting Soviet Union awards! and this is all I was able to find. They come-up on eBay once in a blue moon and from some good dealers. Rusty.

      Here's 2 versions of the Medal for Protection of Public Order 1st one looks like the Soviet one except the reverse has a different crest.

      Here are the 2 variations of the post-Soviet Union Border Guard Medal. 1st Medal is the transitional piece that looks just like the Soviet one except it's missing the CCCP

      Life Saving Medal. This is another one of the medals that left the mint through the back door and was not engraved.

      Here's an interesting one! This is the offically struck Medal of Nakhimov that was never approved by the government but was struck by the mint in anticipation of it being approved! The whole batch was ordered to be destroyed but a few pieces made it out the back door and there are a few dozen in the wild.
