Hi Martin, in 1967 this ring was in one american collection. According to the book it was made in silver in Japan. Although nothing is said about the exact place of manufacturing. It belonged to the member of the Thor. + info about tonnage of ships that were sunken by Thor during its two "cruises to Yokohama" and its destruction. Regards, Nick
