Order of Combat Valor (first 1000 pieces were produced in the second half of 1945), Order of the Red Banner of Labor Valor, Type 4 (first batch produced somewhere between October 1945 and April 1946) or Order of the Polar Star, Type 3 (most likely production started at the end of 1945) bear no technical or personal marks. Same goes for later types of these (and others) Mongolian orders. Now let’s take a look (or give reference to ) at personal and technical marks on these orders.

Type 2 “Uigur” (produced between 1941 and 1944 (no later than 1945))

Type 3 (production started in April 1941 and ended no later than 1944)

Personal and technical marks time horizon A very interesting perspective could be obtained from marks on early types of Mongolian Orders. As we know before 1991 all Mongolian orders were produced by Soviet mint. Naturally same personal and technical marks that we find on Soviet orders could be found on Mongolian orders. But these marks could be found only and only on Mongolian orders that were manufactured before 1945 (inclusive). Let’s discuss these marks and orders on which they could be found.

Different orders – same technical marks But the really interesting question will be the time period during which these technical (and personal) marks were in use. Most probable it is period between 1927 and 1945. Indirect evidence that confirm that time period we could get from Mongolian phaleristic (which is simply a subdivision of Soviet phaleristic ).
