    1. Allow me to introduce to you this beautiful 8th class rising sun order awarded to Uemura Sanzo in 1879 (!). Overview
    2. Couple weeks ago I talked with one of my colleagues. We were discussing lower classes of Rising Sun Order and he said to me that he “wasn’t completely persuaded by my arguments” in this thread. To be honest I was shocked I thought that I clearly demonstrate how dangerous this approach was (and is) … Doubting Thomas So I said to myself “I should finish what I started “lest there be any doubt””
    3. Another variation of type “silver wings” Badge (unknown period) (posts # 38, 39,40) This type has only star in gold gilt. Propeller and wings are in silver. Reverse in silver. Propeller has solid blades.
    4. Please pay special attention to nicely aged ribbons! But how we could differentiate between these beauties? Where is 1st class and where is 3rd? The inscriptions are identical, dude on all three badges is practically the same (well, actually here and there we have small differences, but personally I blame hand finishing!) only the colors are different. Good thing we have reverses! Here they are.
    5. Check this out! Fakes in different classes! Obverses
    6. Hi Jents! What do you think about this specimen? Dimensions Width 34,02 mm Height 34,14 mm Weight 12,10 grams Prinzengrößen? Cheers, Nick
    7. Both orders were made by the very same workshop of Bichay in Cairo in 50s-60s (even hallmarks on reverses are identical). Time for two Asian beauties Japanese Order of Rising Sun vs. Korean Order of Tuiguk (a.k.a. Taeguk)
