    3. Hi Don! I made the list from the resources of different books: Fred Koch (Beutepanzer im ersten Weltkrieg) Heinrich Kaufhold-Roll (Der deutsche Panzerbau im ersten Weltkrieg) Wehrtechnik und wissenschaftliche Waffenkunde Band 15 (Sturmpanzerwagen A7V) Maxwell Hundleby & Rainer Straheim (The german A7V tank and the captured british Mark IV tanks of world war I)
    4. Hello gentlemen! Does someone have the regimental history of the Inf.Rgt. Graf Kirchbach (1.Niederschlesisches) Nr.46? I need the info, if Lt.d.Res. Hugo Harhaus was recorded in that regiment. Thanks a lot in advance
    5. I must say, that this one, unfortunately, is my last "boom"-photo... But it´s my favourite one! It shows a railway-canon, 280mm L/40
    6. Ah, ok! Thank you, Glenn! I didn´t know that fact... I think I can´t get any infos about his time in 146 (if he was there...)
    7. Hello Gentlemen! Does someone know, which german units stood near Tomarowka, october, 13th, 1942?
    8. Hi Glenn! Thank you very much for your work, but I almost own this paper ; that is a sheet of paper of the MWB of 1916. I assume, he joined the Rgt. 155, because he lived next door. (Raszkow, Adelnau, Ostrowo) The Rgt.146 came from Allenstein, so I think, he came in that regiment after his service in 155. My main-question is, did he serve in 146 too, or is the paper of the "teacher´s asociation" wrong? Do you have the MWB of 1917/18 too?
    9. Helle gentlemen! I am looking for some informations about my grand-uncle Leutnant der Reserve, Hugo Harhaus. He was born 1891 in Essen. I know, from 1908-1914 he was a teacher in Raszkow and Adelnau in Posen. There, 1914 he volunteered to the Inf.Rgt.155. He became Vizefeldwebel, and in april 1916 he became Leutnant der Reserve. I have the regimental history of that regiment. There he was recorded as Leutnant der Reserve, but I couldn´t find his name in the list of officer´s positions in that regiment. Then I have paper of a "teacher´s association", where I found, he was also in the Inf.Rgt.146. Unfortunately I don´t have any informations of his time in that regiment. The regimental history didn´t record his name at all... Maybe it´s a mistake of the teacher´s association? My question: Does someone own the "Militär-Wochenblätter "1917 and 1918 (if possible with a name´s index) to send me a scan, if my grand-uncle is recorded there? Or does someone have other informations I don´t know? I´d be very thankful for all informations, I could get. I enclosed the paper of the "teacher´s association"
    10. Hi Bob! No, I don´t know the "Anzio Annie". Haven´t heard about that. My interests is the age of 1870-1933. But the description about that "Annie" sounds interesting!
    11. Very interesting photos, Bob! I haven´t seen these weapons in a private collection! Thannk you for showing! I have another old one. It´s a german 149mm canon, M92.
    12. Nice shot!!!!! Here I have another one. It´s a german rail-canon, 280mm, L40. The was taken in the german island Wangerooge or in the Dardanelles. The only two places, where this gun was used
    13. Oh yes. That´s an brilliant article!!! I´d like to know, where I can finf the photo´s recourses... Well. Elfriede was the first captured tank in very good condition. (1st tank-battle at Villers-Bretonneux) After the battle, the germans wanted to destroy the tank, but they failed. After 12 days, the S.R.R.101 (section de Ravitaillement et de reparation) pulled her about 1km back to the allied lines. May,18 she arrived Saleux, where she was made "ready to drive". In the next months she was investigated by the british and french army. It stil exist a movie (16mm), about the captured tanks! This movie is in the archives of the french army in Fort d´Ivry. During this investigations, Elfriede served as a target for shooting-attempts. In this condition, she came to the Place de la Concorde (note the bullet-holes came from this investigations, not from the battle!). It´s not recorded, what happened to her. Probably she was scraped until 1920
    14. Hi Andrew! What do you want to know? I have several books about the histories of the german tanks
    15. Nice picture! But if you shoot with 75mm, I´ll answer with 209mm:
    16. No photographs in your collction??? Here´s another one. It shows a Mortar, 211mm, M10 (probably with wheels M16)
    17. Let us see, what kind of shooting-artillery-photographs you have in your collection! I start with one of my favourites. ´The backside is described with "15lb"
    18. Oh yes, it´s a nice book! at ebay you can buy it for 10€. Low price for high quality!
    19. Well, to make it more confusely, I read, the germans had another foreign gun in use. The austrian "42cm M16 Autohaubitze". This was was built 1916 and 1917, but stil in use by german troops in 39-45! Photo taken from Franz Kosar (Artillerie im 20. Jahrhundert)
    20. I agree with you, but in the book I read, I´ve found, that the only one gun was placed in Meppen. Not sure, if there were built more than one, and if yes, if they were sent to the eastern front
    21. That is strange!!!! I took a better close up of the ribbon, and it changed into another one....
