    1. Thanks for the link and comment. I must have missed it in my search...still a very pretty medal bar. Gary B
    2. Hi, Did anyone see this 14 place medal bar for sale on ebay. It sold for $5666. With that many enamelled awards I assume the original recipient was identifiable. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...A:IT&ih=001 Gary B
    3. Medical Oberst...the fiueld grade tabs for the medical waffenfarbe are exceptionally hard to find. Gary B
    4. A few more new additions. Another Engineer general...that makes 3 sets for me. Gary B
    5. Thanks for the clarification, Larry. I always get confused on the Admin and Wartime official stuff.....I also posted these in the Admin section so I was 1/2 right! Gary B
    6. Hi, Since there was no existing thread on this subject I decided to start a new thread. (HINT Paul you need to do a thread on these!) Attached is a very rare pair of z.d. Major boards with the silver script RLM cyphers. Gary B
    7. Hi, A recent addition to the colleciton. This is my second pair of General officer tabs for the Engineering branch. Gary B
    8. Hi, Here is a rather hard to find parade mounted version of the 2nd class. Gary B
    9. Hey, To add to this discussion. From recollection the Kriegs Akademie was a very old and honored institution in the German Army. Selection criteria was very stringent and upon graduation officers were entitled to wear the crimson stripes of the General Staff. Assignments would typically alter between staff and command assignments. Gary B
    10. Hi, I thought I would post this medal bar which belonged to an Oberst (came on the tailor card stock named to an Oberst Schmidt ??). Any chance of getting an ID based off of these combo of awards? It is pictured next to an Ivory gripped Eickhorn on its wool bag. Gary B
    11. Hi, Here is a very rare pair of Major Z.D. tabs that I was glad to get for my collection. These tabs are done in 2 different colored bullion, these are the only non general officer tabs I have seen done as such. Gary B
    12. Hi Paul, It was not free...but that is all I will tell you! Gary B
    13. Hi Paul, Normally I do not collect singles...only on exceptionally rare tabs, which I believe this is! And to think it was just sitting on my kitchen table when I came home.... Interestingly its construction is identical to some of the reserve flak officer tabs I have. Same manufacturer?? Gary B
