Yes, this maybe right...I think there is no chance to look into these rolls. The files after 1918 are stored in the castle of Detmold, not in the archive (another collector told me). You need a permission (given by the Prince of Lippe) to look into these files. I haven?t tried this yet, but I?m sure it won?t be easy. I know, that there are recent files in the castle of Schaumburg in Hannover, which are locked by the Prince of Schaumburg... Best regards Roman

Hehe, nice link...with this link I gave somebody, who argued with me about a simple coin for 4 Euro about two weeks, a negative feedbacks 90 days after the auctions end. He didn?t read proper the describtion of the article and didn?t watch the photos. I wrote good condition, he thought it was in very good condition....again: a coin for 4 Euro!!!! Next time he?ll think about his words "cheater and liar" Best regards Solomon

Hi gents, I got another picture from the collector who owns Rittmeister Keim?s medalbar (which was IDed by Rick easily). This identifaction might be more difficult, it seems to be the medalbar of a "Lakai" or something like that, not a high ranked soldier... Of course this medalbar is still nameless...so please let me (and the owner) know, what we can see Best regards Solomon

Hi gentlemen, as requested, I would like to show you a a very nice medalbar from Wuerttemberg and Schaumburg-Lippe. Another collector, who owns this rarity, asked me to help him with the identification of the former owner. (No, it?s not my medalbar...and I?m lucky that there isn?t any award from Lippe-Detmold on it ) Once again Rick did the ID easily...and now it?s my turn to make some advertisement for his book Now, Rick...please let the others know who the former owner was (I already know it ) Best regards Solomon P.S. I?m sure Daniel is also interested in it

Ah, nice war honor medal...on a bow-style NC-ribbon for women. I have the same medal with the same bow-style ribbon for combatants (extreme rare!). It?s possible that this award goes the NC-IC, but not on a bow for women The combination NC-iron cross and NC-war merit cross Lippe-Detmold is a quite common and possible combination. The problem with this offer is the seller and his "very special" medalbars... By the way the seller gives no guarantee for the combination of awards on his medalbars... he only guarantees that the awards and ribbons are original Please think about this carefully... Best regards Solomon

Oooops, I?m sorry that I didn`t answer months ago You are not right...these envelopes belong to the early crosses...SCHWARK mentioned these envelopes in his book, too. Inside was the rest of the paper, in which the shown cross was wrapped. So...watch out for these little envelopes. Best regards Solomon

Oooops, I just saw that I haven?t showed one document yet... This document is probabely the key for the answer, why Leopold IV. has been asked about the marriage. This document is for the parents of "my" Prince. It?s from 1916 and with this document his father and mother became the title "Durchlaucht". More important is, that his parents and their children ("Agnate") were raised to heir apparent ("Thronfolger") Weird rulls of aristrocracy...

...and a scan of the change of 1918 (the other paragraphs I didn?t scan). This change is quite important for my award-document Only the members of the (ruling) house of Lippe-Biesterfeld were allowed to wear the HO 1st class as "Grosskreuz" at the "Cordon" (=ribbon). Members of the house of Lippe-Weissenfeld had to wear the "normal" 1st class. It?s really interesting that the statutes were changed short before the resignment of Leopold IV. (von Lippe-Biesterfeld) Hope you enjoy it like me Best regards Solomon
