Hi all. This is the U.S. part of a grouping that Nick's (Obergefreiter) brother in law got from a WW2 veteran who brought them all back. He sent the collection to Nick for ID, valuation and hopefully sale. It included German souvenirs which I've posted in the appropriate section. Nick and I met over in Devils Lake at the coffee house again last week... I took my Epson and did scans of just about everything in the collection save a bit of documentation (not award docs) which he'll be getting scanned back at his library and I'm assuming will post here once he has them done.

The KVK without swords is maker marked on the ring so will show that as well.

An Infantry Assault Badge in very nice condition. No idea if this is a desirable maker... and any opinions on value would be a BIG help!

Neither Nick nor I have any reason to doubt the authenticity of the grouping, but due to the rarity of this and one other badge and the fact they've been reproduced to death over time, we want to make as sure as possible they are good ones.

Anyhow, there it is. Hoping to get some good opinions on this and again a valuation would help, especially as it is such a rare badge and then the condition complicates things still further. We know it's not worth what one if much better condition would run, but assuming it's still worth a pretty penny, again assuming we're correct and it's a good one. Many thanks! Dan
