Hallo Gents, Yesterday I had the occasion to visit a fellow collectors house for the first time to see some of his items. The following items are difficult to categorize under Romanian law and are I believe are considered to be "firearms" despite the fact they could never be made to fire, so I will not post the collectors name or location. Looking at the rims of my two Wound Medals I notice the following marks located in the same places on the rim of both medals:- Medal 1. 1918. at 9 o'clock rim position. and W&A. located at the 3 o'clock rim position. Medal 2:- 1918. at 9 o'clock rim position. W&A. located at the 3 o'clock rim position. Kevin in Deva.

I received this today its connected to the Agriculture Coop. it is also connected to the "FRUNTAS" Series of Insignia. COOPERATOR FRUNTAS Insignia. Hallo Mr. Keating thanks for the interesting posts with regards the Niemba ambush, you might find the following to be of some interest as it deals with the Congo UN Mission: "Lessons from the Congo" by Declan Power. Published in the Defence Forces Review 2008. So it seems that a failure of any intelligence mechanism local or O.N.U.C.
