    1. Hallo josef, it appears to be an original picture on the monument. Kevin in Deva.
    2. The design is based on the old Royal medal for service. The box quality is superior in my opinion to the quality of the actual medal. The medal ribbon never seems to sit snug in the medal ose and is of a very rough texture and weave. The mini ribbon is an enameled clip-back. Must dig my examples out that I was given and post for comparison. Kevin in Deva.

    18. Hallo Rob, if you care to look at this thread:- http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=43570&st=0 you will see some Romanian medal bars on display at the Romanian Military Museum, it might give you a feel for what to expect with regards style of ribbon folds, however their arrangement of medals is rather slap-happy, with in some cases down right disregard to the regulations of the day (if any) with regards precedence. What I have noticed is very few of the multiple award bars with rossettes attached to ribbons, however there is one Star of Romania on a Military Virtue ribbon. I am working my way towards the WW2 era and will be adding more medal bars amongst the other items. Kevin in Deva
    19. Romanian Order of the Star, 1st Class to 2nd Lieutenant CORNELIU TEODORINI Kevin in Deva.
