      Not sure if these are fakes, looking for opinions Obverse. Have you seen the "Harp or Lyre" constructed in this design, is this another "cheapskate" and added another gull (lower) upon promotion, or a cottage industry variant?

      I have a feeling there was more freelance than templates which I can see for something like an eagle. As the wreath's would have so many leaves per side, and the gulls so many stiches, they are a little simpler to make

      Might be out of commision at the time of the photo, but the Germans used lots of captured tanks as their industry at the time could not make enough A7V's etc.
