hunyadi
I wonder who would have gotten such an item? The Hungarian medal is for "Weapons Friendship" in Gold - first issued in 1979. Not a Hungarian medal bar style - ????
Guest Rick Research
I think this was a "naughty" Soviet officer's bottom bar of foreign awards. Normally all foreign awards were worn in that awful messy pinned on individually style, collar to belly, underneath all Soviet awards. This is much neater. I have seen a very few (much smaller) bars like this with "fraternal" awards mounted Soviet-style.Here is one with a Polish medal custom fitted, including how it was attached on the Soviet style bar:http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=4974&hl=Kuzmin
