EK 1939 A new member says hi !

Good day Sirs!

Just like to say hi to every one.

I am a TR relic collector in Taiwan. Since I do not have a camera or a

scanner, I couldn't post my collection here. Sorry about that guys...

At the moment, I only have 4 mmd EK2 in my collection (Still a long way to

go) and 1 unmarked I try to sell it under consignment store.

I have a bunch of other stuff like the Ostfront, Westwall, KVK2, SA sports and numerous

tinnies..etc. But I don't count them as part of my collection, because now I am

only interested in collecting the top class items such as EK1&2 (must be mmd), RK, DK,

SK, KVK1...I think instead accumulate a whole lotta stuff, why not just focus on

something that will truly preserve its value.

However, nothing thrill me the most like obtain a mm EK. I love EK more than any

other TR items. Hope you feel the same way like I do.

there is always new information and

different perspectives which others can

provide. you no doubt have already

seen some marvelous pictures.

i, too, collect MM'd EK's, but some of

my nicest ones have no MM, and are still

identifiable. enjoy them too!

Indeed, it's all good!

You made a perfect sense by meaning that Unmarked EK2

is just as good as mmd EK2.

Perhaps I should cancel the consignment and get it back if

it's still there!

The unmkd one in the consignment store is a wide frame 47mm,

slightly bigger than the standard issue of 44mm, which quite a

number of recipients converted into RK due to material shortage

during the late war.

Thanks for remind me that the enjoyment I should be appreciated.

If I am correct the 47mm frame is an 'Ubergrosse' EK - I would get it back ASAP - but if you dont - then there are prabably a few folks who would like to buy it
