Guest Rick Research
Time flies... afterwards. I THINK that these are among the rolls that seeheld has been transcribing so at least when his gigantic work is done we will all know who and what GOT them, as well as how many. The wrong Mecklenburg for your question, but I've typed out all of -Strelitz's matching Adolf Friedrich Crosses, which hopefully will see print in A.D. 2010 with the rest of the Mecklenburg-Strelitz 1914+ work done these last several years. At a guess, -Schwerin's equivalent mirrored those bestowed by -Strelitz-- to civilians for war effort work. 1 in 3 from Strelitz went to women of the Frau Somebody-Important type who probably organized sending mittens and that sort of work. Lots of mayors and musicians.
