Tony Farrell
One of my favourite reverse designs: British South Africa Company's Medal - Rhodesia 1896.
Tony Farrell
This also has to be a strong contender: IGS54. this particular example with a Pegu clasp.
Tony Farrell
Another particularly attractive design: East & Central Africa.
Tony Farrell
I don't know whether the design of the IGS08's reverse of the fortress at Jamrud was influenced by the Tibet, but there are similarities on a theme. It's a pretty 'old school' approach (harking back to early company medals) that never resurfaced on any other issues.
Tony Farrell
Another beautiful reverse design not done justice by this image: Natal Rebellion 1906.
