"This letter is to authenticate the origins of the 1941/1942 Campaign Medal awarded to participants in the Winter Moscow campaign of 1941/42. This particular medal is crafted in 18K gold and was awarded to only a select few of the recipients. My father, ,,SS? ObersturmbannFuhrer Joachim Stuletki, received this medal for his leadership and participation as a line officer assigned to the Sonderkommando 4a, of Einsatzgruppe C, Russia 1941-42. For his actions with Einsatzgruppe C, my father was placed on Simon Wiesenthal?s list of SS officers wanted for war crimes. My father and I escaped to Bolivia in 1946 and I have lived in Guatemala and the Canary Islands since 1957. But at least one can have the imaginary medal of an imaginary war criminal with an imaginary letter of "authentication."
