I can not find his name in the grave site, but i am not as skilled there as otheres here are.I think he's lost in action.This letter was inside the book./Andr?
Ulsterman Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 (edited) wow!! GREAT Wehrpass-MIA, but "there's little possibility he might return"-after fighting 15 Km THROUGH Russian lines!!! Now THAT is history.note the "later" date of the crusade medal award. I have seen these in Wehrpasses NO earlier than Fall, 1942 (albeit with a very limited survey sample of a dozen books), but it certainly helps date photos of these in wear-and ribbon bars to about 2 years only.
