Jacques Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Hi Naoki,The gold cross looks OK. It retains good details that I like on the known original Juncker crosses. I can't say about the gold wash. Could you take a picture of the reverse from above (with no angle lateral view) with open and closed pin? I would like to see the maker's mark directly from above.jacques
naoki matsumoto Posted March 12, 2007 Author Posted March 12, 2007 Hi,Jacques!! Thank you for your avdice!!! Please, Closeup of hallmarked from front. "CEJ 900"
naoki matsumoto Posted March 12, 2007 Author Posted March 12, 2007 Hi,Jacques!! This is "Pin-up" of photo.
Jacques Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 It looks OK. For the gold wash, Sal could be more aware than myself....
Sal Williams Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 Hard to tell because the color varies from photo to photo, but it looks good to me. If a photo was posted that the owner feels best represents the true, in hand color I could be more helpful.
Sal Williams Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 I was Jacques, but I am not sure which of his photos accuratly represents the TRUE color of his cross?
naoki matsumoto Posted March 13, 2007 Author Posted March 13, 2007 http://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_03_2007/post-2715-1173097624.jpghttp://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_03_2007/post-2715-1173097633.jpgSpanienkreuz Gold 900 CEJ silber,I photographed materials and a color of Spanienkreuz under a fluorescent lamp and an incandescent lamp to make it easy to cut a solution.Hi,Jacqes & Sal !! Thank you very much!!
naoki matsumoto Posted March 13, 2007 Author Posted March 13, 2007 I was Jacques, but I am not sure which of his photos accuratly represents the TRUE color of his cross?Sorry.I photographed it under a fluorescent lamp and an incandescent lamp so that a color of this item delicately changed by a place and light to watch. The photograph that a color is photographed thinly is not right. I think that the photograph which Gordon enlarged greatly or a detail photograph of the part which spread of here is a near color. Actually, it is the gold that is almost yellow. Had better I send a good photograph?

Jacques Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 Hi,I didn't see this "CEJ 900" to sell by Huesken. Could you post few pics ? I saw a good one at the last Stuttgart show, but I don't remember who was the dealer. the cross was in worn condition but fine looking. I don't remember the price was so high. Huesken is selling over priced on some items, for exemple he currently sell a gold Meybauer cross, wich is fine but worn, and the price is around 3600?.jacques
naoki matsumoto Posted April 19, 2007 Author Posted April 19, 2007 Hello,Jaqcues! So. I put the photograph on here. Can I put on Spanienkreuz photo..It is bad or not when I transfer because I am bad in Huesken. How? It is OK? If OK,I send that photo. But address is http://www.german-militaria.de/katalog/e860010_1.htm Please show it. Can you introduce a good thing? I collect reference materials to buy it.Thank you.
Jacques Posted April 20, 2007 Posted April 20, 2007 Hi Naoki,OK, it is the Meybauer cross I was talking about. I saw it to the last show. the cross is original IMO and in worn condition, age toned. it is marked 900 with the Meybauer's coat of arms. Such gold cross with this particular maker's mark are rare. Nevertheless, considering the condition, I find the cross over-priced. I certainly should have been interested myself at around 2200, but not 3600.jacques
