Richard Gordon Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 (edited) Like most , I don't have the money to put into a geniune set of oakleaves so I got myself a space filler...This started off as a mudane set of '57s in 925 silver. I have some needle files and a mini power tool so I cut and filed all the excess, frosted it and polished the highlights. A few years later a nice patina has formed.Just a nice space filler.Rich Edited August 2, 2005 by Richard Gordon

Richard Gordon Posted August 4, 2005 Author Posted August 4, 2005 Very nice! Btw,how did you frost it?Dave←DaveI used the pickling process. Took me a long time to figure it out and for reasons of caution not something I'd like to reveal in public. Rich

Guest Darrell Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 They certainly look the part Rich, have you paired them of with one of your RK?Allan←Looks like it's attached to a "converted" EK2
Richard Gordon Posted August 4, 2005 Author Posted August 4, 2005 Looks like it's attached to a "converted" EK2 ←Yes, it is attached to an EK2 that had no ring for the ribbon. As it's only a representation I thought the EK2 would make a good partner for it.
