speedytop Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Hi,here are some seldom to be seen sports badges with DSA (Deutsches Sportabzeichen), in Bronze, Silber and Gold.Awarded 1948 - 1952 in North Rhein-Westphalia, Schleswig-Holstein (1949) and Hamburg (1949).Total awards 15,682. I don't know the figures for Silber and Gold, but the proportional distribution is estimated bronze 93%, silver 5% and gold 2%.Marked St. & L. Ges.Gesch.RegardsUwe
Andy H Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 Hi UweThought that this may help with the award numbers. Award Book is for a female 1966 edition. Tried to post image but failed .Number for gold award issued Hamburg on 8 Dec 1966 was 3023Best Regards Andy
speedytop Posted April 5, 2007 Author Posted April 5, 2007 (edited) Hi Andy, are you sure, that you are talking (writing) about the same badge with DSA? 1966 it must be a DSB sports badge on the document, and not a DSA. RegardsUwe Edited July 8, 2015 by speedytop
