    jonightflyer,

Thanks for showing this stuff. Interesting, as you say.

I have heard that Peter Jackson is a WWI enthusiast and colletor. Do you know specifically what he collects? Is it just aviation items? Just curious.

Hey Chip!... he collects WW1 airplanes and all the associated memorabilia. His collection of both has now been placed in this new museum.

The PlM in the photo looks a great deal like the S&L copy made after 1957. Also, the Udet "grouping" was sold at auction not so long ago and the subject of a thread on this forum. The Udet items are, and this is putting it politely, of "doubtful origin".... http://gmic.co.uk/style_images/gmicfinal2/...icons/icon9.gif

Peter obviously can afford to buy items he likes, although how much of what he buys is real is another matter.

    Hi

Very nice items. Like Les said, the Dossenbach's Pour le M?rite looks strange. May be more close up will be necessary. The Pourle M?rite is not my speciality. Does P. Jackson has got more items from Dossenbach like the Ordenspange ?

    Regards

    Christophe
