Schaumburg-Lippe Order for art and science 1st class

Hello Gents,

I proudly present my new purchase...today it arrived:

Schaumburg-Lippe Order for art and science 1st class (2nd model)

The cross was spent by Prince Stefan Albrecht Georg 1899.

My cross is the 2nd model (partially enameled and gilden silver), awarded between 1914-1918.

The ribbon (red-golden) is the original one.

I?m quite sure the maker was Carl B?sch, Hannover...because of the crown-design...

There were only about 14 awards of this type (35 award of the 1st class total)

Although there is only a small number of possible owners, I don?t have a name

Actually... 12. 13 if the "last" person with the 1st model who recieved it on the very day the design was ordered changed actually got the 2nd type later than the bestowal date.

Sadly, there is not enough of EITHER Lippe to go around.

Wait untiul the rolls come out, oh my.
