Some time ago, one or two years, I got a group photo of Reichswehr Musicians ( Rick will remember, cause he identified some of the men )

I can not find the thread anymore, maybe it wasn't even in this Forum.

Today I got this beautiful portrait:

It has a dedication and signature on the back:

I remembered that Rick told me, that this was the former Musikmeister of the Bavarian Infanterie-Leibregiment who also was the composer of the Badenweiler-Marsch, the regimental march.

It took me one hour to search for the group photo which is still in my collection, but was not stored in the right place.

Anyway. Glad that I got this nice portrait today - and yes - it was cheap. While the rest of the collectors here look for KC-Holders, Tiger-Tanks and Me-109 photos, I am always willing to pay low money for some really rare birds like this one.

That is a great picture, could you do some more close-ups of their ribbon bars? Those guys are wearing really long bars, maybe it's due to the Bavarian folded style.

Hell, that was already back in 2005.
