The order was given that this was possible WITHOUT contacting the unit to see if there was a bravery citation. the awrds could be done by the Stellv. Kommandierende General of the Wehrkreiss.So if you have a single EK doc with all typing for who signed it like on the one below, you can be pretty sure that it was an automatic award made back home for a badly wounded soldier Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
