The procedures for nomination, approval, and authorization are contained in Kosovo Police Service Policy and Procedures Manual (P-1.36). This policy also dictates the manner in which these awards are to be worn by members of the Police Service while in uniform.Nothing contained herein should be construed as changing any provision or regulation that is in effect. The actual policy of Awards and Decorations is the ultimate authority.The unauthorized wearing of ribbons or decorations that depict any of the decorations authorized by the Kosovo Police Service is prohibited."The Medal of HonorThe Medal of Honor is the highest award within the Kosovo Police Service.
