Motorhead Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 Gentlemen,a while ago I was the opinion only L/12 with the "crosshatching" are the real deal.Meanwhile it looks like we have minimum 2 variations of this maker. Here are my 3 Junckers in different variations.MichaNr.1 is a nonmagnetic pinback
joe campbell Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 (edited) beautiful examples, micha!and i have another:a wide-frame (as above), cross-hatched,screwback marked L/12.this one, however, is a TR era made 1914!same cross with different core.joe Edited June 24, 2007 by joe campbell
Richard Gordon Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 MichaI think your crosses number 1 & 2 are the same frame and core. There are parts of the frame that match up but the 3rd one doesn't have these. Maybe number 3 is earlier?See the red circles and compare the same areas in crosses 1 & 2.Rich
Motorhead Posted June 24, 2007 Author Posted June 24, 2007 @Rich-my screwback looks almost identical to my W&L L55 Now I', really unshure what to do with this Ek! It looks like that Juncker has used a lot of different hardware.Well,I will keep my eyes open for a "regular" L/12 with cross hatching........Micha@Joe-you've got there a variation that I haven't seen very often-I don't collect the 3rd Reich made '14 EKs,but yours is one I would make an exception!
