Maybe we should have a separate thread for that topic.Actually no bad idea, but just to add: my father has a Sachsen-Coburg-Gotha SEHO with French hilts (are they called Paris? Also, I think there's at least one more type. I think Mecklenburg used a regular Roman sword, rather than a cross-hilted sword.
