It seems to be that I've completed this maker-I've never seen another core or frame like this one so I'm shure this part of my search has come to an end!The maker mark is really clear but unfortunately I didn't get it any better on the pic-sorry!

By the way-is there a 2nd class L/53 known?

I agree, what an ugly cross, in fact it is so ugly, I'll be willing to take it off his hands at a fair price and put it in a home with some other ugly ek's. Nice cross!
