buellmeister Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 (edited) Awesome "Moments in Time!" Very Nice Pictures! The Old Sherman certainly was a tank that had seen action on many fronts and with many variations.Regards,Joel Edited July 29, 2007 by buellmeister

Kev in Deva Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 (edited) While not quite combat photos, if you feel they are off topic feel free to delete them.Kevin in Deva Edited July 29, 2007 by Kev in Deva
Tiger-pie Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 The Sherman in post #16, does that have "zimmeret" on the sides? The texture of the steel appears to be coated on the flank closest to the cameraman.Regards;Johnsy
Jim Baker Posted July 29, 2007 Author Posted July 29, 2007 Hey Johnsy,That's probably chicken wire. I've got another photo somewhere of a Jumbo with the chickenwire. I can only guess for camo because these were pretty heavily armored.
Jim Baker Posted July 29, 2007 Author Posted July 29, 2007 Now that Kevin has me thoroughly depressed, let's get back to happy photos. Here are some Jarheads taking a break. Note the markings.
Jim Baker Posted July 29, 2007 Author Posted July 29, 2007 Street fighting. I love shots of these guys firing.
