Kriegsmarine Postwar Bordjacke

Note that the commander is wearing the grey green Bordjacke. Now it may well be that sufficient stocks of old wartime jackets were still available (this is what I tend to think) but if they were also making them postwar - could make the purchase of one of these tricky. I have never seen a BM Bordjacke and given the volume of surplus BM stuff that circulates one would think that if made postwar these would show up with BM markings inside. So this guy probably is wearing old wartime surplus stock.

Note also the crewman on deck wearing the dark blue M43 cap.

Very interesting picture. I would love too find some wartime surplus stock of these jackets!
