EK 1914 EK2 Maker markings-Help needed.

Hi

Any ideas on this one? I just cannot make it out. As a matter of interest, there are two marks on either side of the small reing. One looks like a 1 and the other a square.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That's a "K.A.G." round crown type. Turn the pic 180 degrees and you will see it.The bottom of the "G" is cutt off.
