In the DOA 1908/09, there is a Karl Graf Lehndorff, Oberlt dL aD, born 7.8.1860, Majoratsbesitzer in Steinort, PrLD2. (His first name is sometimes also spelt Carol.) He died in 1936. Is it possible to find out which regiment he belonged to? Must have been during the 1880s, probably.

    Hi Webr,

I think his full name was Carol Meinhard Graf von Lehndorff, maybe a look through the "Regiments-Ranglisten" in the link below could help.

    Regards Eddie.

Karl Graf Lehndorff was originally an active officer in the Neum?rkisches Dragoner-Regiment Nr. 3. He went on reserve status in that regiment on 15 November 1887. He transfered into Landwehr status in 1899 (Landwehrbezirk Goldap) and left military service completely sometime between May and December 1900.

    Second-Lieutenant: 14. 7.83

    Premier-Lieutenant d.R.: 17.12.92
