Alex C Posted August 27, 2007 Posted August 27, 2007 (edited) Hi Gents, just a curiousity: when a wool cloth made EM/NCO Luftwaffe Waffenrock (5 frontal buttons and hook on the collar) was produced by a factory (not private tailor) for example in the '39, was the breast eagle machine sewed directly from the factory? I know that on the Fliegerbluse, the breast eagle was sewed just on the October 1940 and those made previous that time should be hand sewed by the soldier. Is it the same for the Waffenrock? Bob Lyons Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Hi Alex,From the examples that I have seen, all of them have been hand applied, I think that is correct for the earlyexamples.Best wishesBob
Paul R Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 All of my Tuchrock examples had their eagles applied by hand.
