Opinon on Spanish Cross

It's my first visit at the forum, and I'm impressed! Compliments to all of you!

I recently bought a Spanish Cross in silver without swords. I really don't know much about these, accept that they are quite rare (if original). The seller had originally bought it as an original, and claimed that it was.

What do you experienced and scilled guys think? I would highly appreciate your opinion. Is it a fake?

while TR is not my bag, it was for a while.

i had several spanish crosses, and would have to

agree with peter.

the hinge, especially, makes this quite suspect,

as well as the configuration of the stippling around the

hakenkreuz. also, and i may be all wet here, the adler

was spot welded to the cross. these seem to be cut

as one piece with the cross itself.

i suspect you are rather upset and hope you can find satisfaction.

Is it just my eyes or is the work around the swastikas rather shoddy as well?

Hallo StephenB, welcome to the GMIC a piece of advice often given here at GMIC and its timeless:

"Buy the piece not the story" sellers claims often lie in the domain of pure fantasy and childrens nursery ryhmes.

Hopefully you will recourse to get your hard earned cash back from the seller.

Thanks to all of you for kind help and useful information. I did suspect this to be a fake, and I now concider it as confirmed. Lucky for me it is sold with an originality-guarantee!

I don't think it is an original one.

Bad color, odd pin and hook. One piece construction that do not match with the known variant one piece construction.

I advice you to send it back to the dealer and get your money back.
