Luftwaffe Honour Goblet

Just picked this goblet up this afternoon, funny how things go around, I owned this a couple

of years back, and managed to get it back in trades today.

Any info on the recipient would be greatly recieved...

The goblet originally came from Detlev Niemann, with his guarantee....

This is on the reverse of the photo that shows him close up....

And the reverse of the photo showing him with his awards, sadly all I can make out

is the 1944 date, any help deciphering this would also be greatly appreciated.
