otis Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 Hello Can you help me? I found this seat from a farmer near a military Airport of Brescia (Montichiari) that during IIWW was Occupied by Luftwaffe troops Many thanks from OTIS
Snoopy Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 Hello OtisInteresting seat, and in good condition too. I have checked some of my reference books, but I haven't found it yet. Is it possible that it is of italian origin? The luftwaffe used a lot of italian aircraft after 1943. Have you found any markings on the seat?Snoopy
otis Posted October 19, 2007 Author Posted October 19, 2007 Hi SnoopyMany thanks for your answer, There are 2 labels in german language on the seat, I include 2 photos I hope they are clearOn the seats there is a bag for parachute typical German material.By from OTIS
Scott Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 (edited) It looks to have no height adjustment mechanism, which would rule-out most pilot seats.Scott Edited October 19, 2007 by Scott
